Our Life Groups are
midweek meetings that are very informal and held in homes. There
are typically 10-15 people in a life group and that is small
enough to allow real friendships to develop. Our life groups
are one of the most important ways that we use to try to make sure
that people genuinely feel a part of the church ‘family’, and they
have certainly proved very effective at doing that.
While the key objective of
our life groups is to provide a means for people to build strong
relationships, a big part of that process comes from helping one
another to grow in our Christian faith. Life Groups are
therefore the place to ask questions, discuss issues, pray
together, minister to one another, and most definitely to have
some fun together.
At the moment there are
four Life Groups running:-
| Life Group Leaders | Meeting Time |
| John & Glenda Wagstaff | Tuesdays, 8pm |
| Chris & Marj Day | Wednesdays, 8pm |
| Roy & Angela Hodges | Wednesdays, 8pm |
| Dean & Joy Kitchener | Wednesdays, 8pm |
John & Glenda Wagstaff
John
and Glenda have been married for 28 years and have 6 children
between them, 20 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild! Put together, they have 60 years worth of experience
of living as Christians. Both have been involved in short term
missions over the years, including visits to Argentina, India and
Mauritius. As well as leading a Life Group John also organises the
Men's Breakfasts, has a
prophetic ministry and preaches from
time to time. Glenda is involved with organising refreshments
on a Sunday morning, and she is also involved as a Street Pastor,
which is an inter-church activity.

If you would like to
see what one of our Life Groups is like, whether you have visited
us on a Sunday morning or not, please
contact us and we will arrange a visit for you. We are
open to visitors, just as we are on a Sunday morning, and would be
happy to meet anyone who is looking for a church family to join,
or who would just like to know more about Jesus. We hope to
see you soon!
